A GAC vehicle’s intelligent systems architecture

Technology

Intelligent System

Scenario-based, electrified, intelligent and digital, from the chassis up.

GAC builds intelligence into the vehicle at four levels: the scenario it is driving in, the electrification underneath it, the systems that read the road, and the digital architecture that connects them.

Scenario-based

Electrification

Digitization

ADiGO Autonomous Driving System

GAC Research Institute is fully engaged in autonomous driving R&D, leveraging the GAC X-Soul EE Architecture to develop key algorithms and software. It integrates autonomous driving perception, decision-making, chassis by-wire and dynamics control, establishing a unique GAC autonomous driving technology ecosystem.

GAC L4

The GAC L4 Autonomous Driving System uses vehicle-grade components, including solid-state LiDAR, ultra-high-definition visual sensors and embedded computing units, to create a secure and reliable system-level solution with a focus on functional safety and information security.

GAC L2++ navigation driving assistance development vehicle

GAC L2++

The GAC L2++ Navigation Driving Assistance System (NDA) carries 31 intelligent perception sensors, including a 100-line LiDAR and an 8-megapixel camera, supporting driving assistance along a set navigation route. Its functions include single-lane cruising on main roads and ramps, automatic ramp entry and exit, automatic lane changing, automatic overtaking and automatic obstacle avoidance.

FAPA Integrated Parking Controller

GAC’s independently developed integrated parking technology offers vertical, parallel, diagonal and remote parking, recognising both space and line parking bays to cover most market scenarios. With OTA support it continuously improves and optimises its parking solutions.

5G V2X vehicle intelligent communication system on a connected city road

5G V2X Vehicle Intelligent Communication System

GAC’s first 5G V2X in-car system, launched on the AION V in 2020, delivers high-speed, low-latency 5G connectivity. As China’s first mass-produced V2X application, it connects vehicles, people and infrastructure, enabling ultra-long-range perception for smarter, safer driving.

Intelligent driving, absolute safety

Garcia Intelligent Driving System

The Garcia Intelligent Driving System excels in complex environments without relying on high-precision maps or laser radars. By integrating visual sensors and advanced AI algorithms it achieves human-like perception, enabling broader coverage on a streamlined hardware setup.

Parking function

Mastering the most challenging parking scenarios

The system reads the bay, plans the manoeuvre and parks the car, whether the space is vertical, parallel or diagonal, and whether the driver is at the wheel or standing outside with a phone.
